Maple Toffee Goat Cheese Pastry Bites
1 sheet puff pastry
6 oz maple toffee goat cheese
1 Tbsp Maple
½ cup toffee bits, divided in half
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Combine maple toffee goat cheese, egg, and maple syrup, and half the toffee bits in small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Meanwhile prepare the puff pastry dough by rolling out on a lightly floured surface into an 18 x 9 rectangle. Cut into 12 2-inch squares, and press into mini muffin tin cups. Distribute the maple toffee filling evenly. Bake approximately 10 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and puffed.
Top with remaining toffee bits, and sprinkle powdered sugar on top, if desired.
